My love for books started at an early age. My mom was a lover of reading and I inherited from her the ability to stay up into the wee hours of the night reading until with most nights, the sun would be rising and a new day starting. There are many books that have stuck with me over the years-I remember my mom and I laughing hysterically at Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing and Superfudge. And I should say if you have never read or appreciated these books, then we have nothing left to talk about. Your childhood was imperfect. 😉
Over the years I became a lover of all British Literature and a true Bronte fan. Charlotte, not Emily, as Wuthering Heights and I agreed to disagree to Catherine and Heathcliff’s standing as one of the great couples in literature. I’m firmly on Team Jane and Mr. Rochester.
So whether or not you agree with me, you can’t say that the Jane Eyre clutch I purchased for a meager $13 bucks is not entirely awesome. And for those Emily fans, there’s a Wuthering Heights one that’s pretty cool, I guess. 😉
Much love,
Mel
